Honky-tonker Dwight Yoakam will bring his guitars, Cadillacs and hillbilly music to Amarillo for a February concert.
Yoakam will perform at 8 p.m. Feb. 16 in the Amarillo Civic Center Complex Auditorium, 401 S. Buchanan St.
Tickets go on sale at noon Friday at Panhandle Tickets outlets, including online, by phone at 806-378-3096 or in person at the Civic Center Box Office or area United Supermarkets.
Tickets are $86.75, $56.75, $36.75 and $26.75, plus fees.
Yoakam has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide and is a 21-time nominated, multiple Grammy Award winner. He has 12 gold albums, with five of those albums topping Billboard’s Country Albums chart, another 14 landing in the Top 20. Nearly 40 of Yoakam’s singles have charted, with 14 peaking in the Top 10.
In 2015, Yoakam released his latest album, Second Hand Heart, on Warner/Reprise Records.
In addition to his musical career, Yoakam is a prolific film and television actor.
